Apollo Intensa Emozione supercar revealed

Supercar manufacturer Apollo has unveiled its Intensa Emozione, the name being Italian for “intense emotion.” The car was presented at a special event in Italy where Apollo confirmed that 10 examples will be sold, each at a price approaching $2.71m. Apollo is the Chinese-backed, Italian-based firm born out of the remains of Germany’s Gumpert. It first showed up at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show where it presented the 986-horsepower Arrow supercar.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V-12 pushing 780hp and 560 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed sequential shifter transmission and onto the rear wheels.
62 mph comes in 2.7 seconds on the way to a top speed of 208 mph.
A carbon monocoque chassis is used to maintain rigidity and save weight, while the front and rear subframes are also made out of composite. Combined the subframe and tub only weigh 105kg. The entire vehicle comes in at 1,250 kg.
The vehicle is said to produce up to 1,350kg of downforce at 300km/h.

Inside creature comforts are sparse. The seats are mere cushions which have been stuck directly onto the carbon fiber tub with the pedals and steering wheel being adjustable.
