Ferrari Daytona

The Ferrari Daytona, officially designated the Ferrari 365 GTB/4, is a two-seat grand tourer produced by Ferrari from 1968 to 1973. It was introduced at the Paris Auto Salon in 1968 to replace the 275 GTB/4. It is a traditional front-engine, rear-drive car.
The engine was a 4.4 L DOHC V12 with a 60° bank angle, 365 cc per cylinder, featuring six Weber twin carburettors. It produced 352hp could reach 280 km/h (174 mph)and 0-60 mph (97 km/h)in 5.4 seconds.

The five-speed manual transmission was mounted in the rear, and a four-wheel independent suspension featured wishbones and coil springs. 1,406 examples were produced over the life of the model, including 122 factory-made spyders.
The car sold for $19,700 in 1972. Like all Ferraris the Daytona is highly collectible with ordinary examples going for around $ 800,000 and up.
The only known aluminum alloy Daytona was sold September 9, 2017 at a Sotheby's sale. The 'barn find' 1969 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Berlinetta Alloy by Scaglietti made €1.807.000
